The Story Behind Allergy Momma

You know that person that just always has everything go wrong no matter what you do? Yeah, that’s me. I buy a reliable car, it breaks down. I get a 1 year old dog, she has a birth defect and has to wear diapers for the rest of her life. I have a child, everything goes wrong (but we still love her to bits of course!).

So, I started this blog site because my husband and I have had QUITE the adventure with our little girl!  Food allergies and skin allergies galore… special diet and special diapers.  Yep, that’s us.  Her doctor and his whole staff know us very well and she has been baffling them for quite some time!

I searched and searched the internet for some (ANY) kind of explanation, or SOMETHING, but there was nothing. Not to mention, there just aren’t very many recipes (or like ANY) that fit the needs my daughter has, so I have had to learn a whole new world of cooking.

So, now, after numerous doctors’ visits and a year and a half of trial and error, I decided I would share our experiences and some recipes with others who may be going through the same thing with their little one(s).  I hope the information I share is helpful!  If it is, please let me know about it; I love to hear feedback!
